About Us
The Ibn Gabirol Center - Estrella Toledano School is the soul of the Jewish Community of Madrid. It is the only Jewish school in Spain for children from 3 to 18 years old.
Our school offers an ambitious general studies curriculum and projects that weave the values and traditions of Judaism into daily academic life, while promoting a lasting relationship with the language, culture, and land of Israel.
At our school we provide a stimulating educational environment where students are challenged to prepare for the university of their choice and graduate from our school being lifelong learners and having leadership skills.

Our school invited to represent all public, private and government subsidized Schools in the North Zone of Madrid
Doña Isabel Ayuso, President of the Community of Madrid, has invited our director to the "Act in recognition of teachers during the pandemic" on behalf of all the Schools in the North Zone of Madrid that took place at the Royal Post Office in October, 2020. It was attended by 50 directors of Early Childhood Education centers, Nursery and Primary schools, Secondary and FP Institutes, Special Education, Adult and rural schools, public, subsidized and private schools in Madrid.
In her speech, the President of the Community has recognized "The value of Madrid teachers, as well as the work of teachers, management teams, school staff, students and families at the beginning of the most difficult school year in history in the Community of Madrid".
Our principal has stated in her speech: “As a school, we are proud to have had the privilege of being chosen by the authorities to represent all centers.
I am the visible face but this is the result of the work of the entire School Community and especially our teachers to whom I thank again ... "
